Committees

Committees are where we get together to work on the things needed to run the organization and get to know each other. They are sub-committees of the Communications, Membership and Fundraising. All members are encouraged to serve on a committe each year.

New Members

Your first few months as a new member will be assisted by the mentor you will be assigned when you join. She will introduce you to the other members and help you thru the many but confusing volunteer and fun opportunities you will be given.

Hospitality

Our Hospitality committee is most evident taking up money at lunch - but that is not their only job. They are there to help members should an illness arise or to help plan for the next event.

Programs

Making sure our meetings offer something you're interested in is the job of the Program Committee. They will welcome any suggestions you may have.

Over the Tabletop Holidays

Help plan our November event! Are you good with advertising, are you detail oriented - do you like to be in the middle of things?? Join this committee and help create a fabulous event.

Fashion Show

This fashion presentation will be held in the February of 2012, but we are already starting to plan. Join in!

Casino Night

Can't wait till spring of 2012 - get out those lucky dice, dust off that rabit's foot, gather up your friends and join us for a fun event.

 

Sandie Gambill - 3rd VP - Communications

Keeping you informed is the job of communications, and we have many tricks up our sleeves.

 

Publicity

The best way to get the word out about our club is publicity. If you're an avid writer, enjoy taking photographs or just like to talk, please join this group.

Update

Getting the word out to the membership via email each week is a tough job - but somebody has to do it! And our chair keeps us up to date so we don't miss a thing.

Website

2010 has seen a challenge to create a new website and keep it maintained. If you enjoy writing this team may be for you! Hope you like the results!
