Committees are where we get together to work on the things needed to run the organization and get to know each other. They are sub-committees of the Communications, Membership and Fundraising. All members are encouraged to serve on a committe each year.
Your first few months as a new member will be assisted by the mentor you will be assigned when you join. She will introduce you to the other members and help you thru the many but confusing volunteer and fun opportunities you will be given.
Our Hospitality committee is most evident taking up money at lunch - but that is not their only job. They are there to help members should an illness arise or to help plan for the next event.
Making sure our meetings offer something you're interested in is the job of the Program Committee. They will welcome any suggestions you may have.
Help plan our November event! Are you good with advertising, are you detail oriented - do you like to be in the middle of things?? Join this committee and help create a fabulous event.
This fashion presentation will be held in the February of 2012, but we are already starting to plan. Join in!

Getting the word out to the membership via email each week is a tough job - but somebody has to do it! And our chair keeps us up to date so we don't miss a thing.
