INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY
NMWC is proud to make DoubleHarvest - Haiti our ongoing International project. DoubleHarvest has ties to our North Mecklenburg Community and provides a school, hospital and farming project for the people of Haiti. During the 2010 earthquake DoubleHarvest was able to provide food in the form of fresh fish from their fish farm and hospital facilites to care for the many people injured. Within three weeks school was able to begin again for the children.
