North Mecklenburg Woman's Club works hard in our community, and we understand that most women join our organization because they enjoy volunteering. But we also recognize that many times women are new to the area and want to make friends. And we are happy to accommodate!

Our Special Interest groups works diligently to find things for our women to do to get to know each other. We currently have a monthly bridge group as well as lunch bunch - what better way than meeting over lunch to get to know someone else. Golf Groupies play the different courses in our area while the book club is talking about their latest read. And don't forget the Movie Maniacs watching the newest blockbuster or chick flick - whatever they're in the mood for. Every other month is the Wine & Dine - a way to get spouses to know each other too. And don't forget our day trips - Blowing Rock, Old Salem, Ashe County, Replacements, Seagrove Pottery, Childress Vineyards, plays ... our list goes on.

Nothing here that interests you? The Special Interest chair is always willing to create a new group or instigate a trip. Come have fun and make a new friend!
