Membership

Do you want to volunteer in your community? Are you new in the area and want to know what is going on? Looking to make new friends? Please consider the North Mecklenburg Woman's Club. This group of women of various ages and backgrounds have come together for various reasons but they are making a difference.
As our community grows so do the needs. We welcome all.

 

Several committees fall under the auspices of Membership.

 

New Members

Your first few months as a new member will be assisted by the mentor you will be assigned when you join. She will introduce you to the other members and help you thru the many but confusing volunteer and fun opportunities you will be given.

Hospitality

Our Hospitality committee is most evident taking up money at lunch - but that is not their only job. They are there to help members should an illness arise or to help plan for the next event.

Programs

Making sure our meetings offer something you're interested in is the job of the Program Committee. They will welcome any suggestions you may have.

Special Interest

Between meetings we have fun with by having Book Club, Bridge, Golf Groupies, Lunch Bunch, Movie Mania and Wine & Dine. There is always some type of tour to go on too. All of our members enjoy these groups and you're welcome to help plan these events.
