The North Mecklenburg Woman’s Club recognizes the need for continuing education: therefore, it offers four scholarships for $2000 to women 21 years of age and older who desire entry, re-entry, or are currently enrolled in a North Carolina accredited educational institution. An applicant must reside in Mecklenburg, Iredell or Lincoln counties. Factors to be considered are financial need, dedication to service in the community, and predicted success in a chosen field. Scholarship awards will be distributed directly to the recipient’s educational institution of choice.

 

Women who need financial aide and are 21 years or older may apply for a scholarship by downloading the application to be completed and postmarked by March 23, 2012. Send the competed form with designated references and essay to North Mecklenburg Woman's Club, P.O. Box 1782, Huntersville, NC 28070.
