NMWC members believe that in creating a better life for people in our communities we create a better life for each other. Our communities range from Denver to North Mecklenburg to Mooresville. We have a rich history spanning almost 100 years of service to our area. From local soup kitchens to helping provide medical services in Haiti to advancing the education of deserving women, we are a hardworking bunch of women who enjoy reaching out to our community and getting to know each other.
Members participate in a number of ways from community work to hosting a wine & dine party. Organizationally we are lead by a Board of Directors with help from a Communications team and a Membership group. Most of the members join into the work of the organization by becoming part of one of the Departments, Committees or Fundraising.
Daytime meetings are the first Wednesday of each month, September thru May at NorthStone Club in Huntersville. The meetings begin promptly at 10:30AM. We encourage you to come early for coffee and information. Our buffet lunch is available for $14. Please let the hospitality chair know in advance if you are staying for lunch.
Evening meetings are at Alton's at Jetton Village. They are held the first Tuesday of the month at 6:00PM. For reservations or information click here.
